Cookie Policy

Do We Use Cookies?

No. Spookology does not set or read any cookies — no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no analytics cookies. You won't see a cookie consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.

What About the Dark Mode Toggle?

The light/dark theme switch in the navigation bar uses your browser's local storage instead of a cookie. It's a similar idea — a small piece of data saved in your browser — but with a few important differences: it's never sent to a server with every page request the way a cookie is, it stays only on the device and browser you set it on, and it exists purely so the site remembers your preference between visits.

Third-Party Fonts

This site loads two typefaces from Google Fonts. Google's font delivery service may use its own cookies or similar technology as part of serving those files; that's governed by Google's own policies, not this site's. No cookie from Google Fonts is read or used by Spookology itself.

Managing Local Storage

You can clear your browser's local storage at any time through your browser's settings (usually under "Clear browsing data" or "Site settings"). Doing so will simply reset the theme toggle back to matching your system preference.
